There isn’t any further news since my last heart stopping report of Olivier having supper with his fellow motorcycle enthusiast friend Orlando Bloom at The Little Door in Los Angeles but I’m pretty darn sure Olivier is still in California. More news as it developes.

I’m going to tell you about “The Chambermaid on the Titanic” next. It’s my second favorite Olivier Martinez film for many reasons. Again Olivier displays his incredible acting talent through every mood and stage of emotion. He’s the romantic lead in a truly romantic and somewhat erotic story. He doesn’t die … big plus. LOL!!! Watch and see and I know you will agree that it deserved its five stars! It’s absolutely fantastic!!!

I wish I had a trailer for this but for the life of me I haven’t found one yet. I’ll keep looking though. Instead I will post a few clips from the film as we progress through the story.

If you are looking to own the DVD you may have some trouble acquiring it if you live in the U.S. If you are French or Spanish you should have no trouble. My copy of the DVD came from Spain and was purchased for me by a very great friend of mine, Alix. I also have the VHS version which my fellow Americans will be able to purchase online at Amazon. The VHS version has English subtitles. The DVD I have from Spain has only Spanish subtitles.

Here is a really terrific synopsis I found written Stephen Holden of the New York Times. >>>

Our need for stories -- not just any old anecdotes but transporting tales of passion, heroism and loss -- may be as essential as our need for food. It is an appetite that embraces not just the classic fairy tales and adventure stories that are handed down through the generations but also our own personal narratives. The little storm-tossed autobiographies we compile help us explain and validate passions that might otherwise have no meaning once they've died. As skeptical as we may be about the boastful tales others spin about their romantic exploits, there is a part of us that hungers to believe and to be imaginatively swept by the most far-fetched fantasies.

There are many reasons why The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone is probably my favorite Olivier Martinez movie. It the character of Paulo DiLio as only Olivier can play him. He is handsome and beyond charming, a masterful seducer, prideful and prone to fits of rage, yet at times funny, tender hearted and sweet. It’s not only the lines Olivier speaks when he plays Paulo but his physical mannerisms, the flailing of his arm, the beating of his chest, his proud walk, the I’m going to dance with you now walk, his looks of consternation tempered by his moments of laughter. He sings beautifully in the movie and makes eyes to tempt you to do anything he wishes. I remember the moment I fell in love with Olivier. It was during this movie in the scene when the Countessa introduces Mrs. Stone to Paulo and she asks him, “Have we met?” And he gives her that look… Ooohh buuh buhh … I was hooked.

Tonight we complete our lessons on The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone first with screen caps from the interview and ending with promotional and behind the scenes shots. Enjoy …

I’ve got two news items. One I can confirm and one I cannot. Confirmed: Olivier is in California!  He was spotted yesterday June 4, 2009 making trips back and forth to his car, carrying bags full of goodies from Oscar Generale’s Clothing Showroom in Los Angeles. His hair is cropped quite short and he looks in fit condition for whatever California has in store for him. He was wearing his signature blue jeans, sunglasses, black boots and black t-shirt with Vincent printed over his chest. *giggle* For those of you who may not know, Vincent is his brother’s name.

You probably wonder where I get this information from, Olivier. No, I don’t have a tracking devise on you. It’s just the internet. I’m on the other side of the U.S. from you now in the woods of the Adirondack Park in Upstate New York. It’s beautiful here and it just so happens there is a biker convention going on all this week in Lake George called Americade. There are motorcycles of every description here … nearly 100,000 of them and it’s very noisy indeed.

The item I cannot help but report because I pray to GOD it’s true but cannot absolutely confirm is that Olivier has changed talents agencies. Last confirmed Olivier was represented by CAA – Creative Artists Agency. There was a report yesterday that Olivier has switched to a VERY reputable agency called TGA - The Gersh Agency.

Link to new source >>>http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/gersh-agency-signings-include-winona-ryder-sam-waterston-alicia-witt/

Here’s hoping for the VERY BEST for our Olivier! I’ll be back with more news as it develops. Stay tuned.

Last week was a hard one due to family health issues but things are a bit better know and I’m praying will continue to improve. My little German mother has been extremely ill, Squishy. So I was forced to neglect you for a time while our family banded together to be our Mother’s advocate. I bet you got on just fine despite not having news of yourself from this journal. LOL!!! But I do miss you terribly, as do we all. It’s our fondest hope to see you out and about, busy and thriving. I hope that what ever you’re up too you are not neglecting your health, for I learned hard life lessons this past week that will haunt my memory forever. Stop smoking if you can. Drink red wine and so something good for yourself everyday. It IS true it really is true that if you have not your health, you have nothing. God keep you.

My dear guests, Olivier is so mysterious and continues to elude me tonight as I search for news to report along with this mega picture post. Dial up users I pity you. LOL!!! I present the last of the caps from The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone

My friend Kkrueger has been a huge help to me in hunting down what little information we are able to find on Olivier's current or upcoming projects.  Now this is another exciting possibility for him listed at IMDb which is very exciting.  It's called Deauville.  K said, "I think you should make some sort of announcement to Olivier's fans that he's making a comeback."

I said, "Announce what?  There is nothing solid and so little information to go on."

Mostly I blame Chris Andrews for his failure to find good projects for Olivier and also for failing to negotiate properly when it comes time for putting pen to paper. It just seems like the last fo … few years, poor Olivier has had to put up with this sort of shit while waiting for his film projects to start. IMDb just says it all. A WOMAN should have been in charge!!! Chris Andres, Glenio Bonder and John Eyres … this video is all about you.

Google deserves to be my homepage because they help me so much in finding Olivier with there clever google alerts. Another wonderful feature is that you can customize the look of your google homepage with a choice of thousands of different banners and color schemes. I recommend it especially if you are a fan of Olivier Martinez because I have made customizing your fan … google homepage much simpler by designing Olivier Martinez banners for you. I’ve tried three so far but plan on adding more. When I do I will tell you. Have a look see.

I have never seen Olivier’s movie called La Taule but I would love to own it on DVD. Because I live in the U.S. it’s much harder for me to acquire it. That doesn’t mean I’m not determined. I keep searching but if any of my French friends could steer me in the right direction I sure would love that. And I would express my appreciation by capping the movie and sharing it with Olivier’s fans here on Je t’aime Olivier.

I found treasure. It’s small but rare and precious. The following are small pictures from four of Olivier’s films - IP5, La Taule, The Horseman on the Roof and Unfaithful. Most of the pictures were way too dark, that’s why it took me longer than a couple days to post them because I wanted to lighten most of them and do a bit of color correction and enhancement. I’m posting originals of each shot first followed with my improved versions. The reason I’m posting both are for the artists who visit that might prefer to enhance the pictures themselves for their own artworks. I hope you enjoy these.

And in the news … It was Venice, not Rome. I even recognize the construction barriers in the Piazza San Marco in the paparazzi pictures. How do I know? LOL!!! Well lemme tell you what. I’ve got spies all over the world. My dear friend Alix who lives in Portugal (and who very lovingly supplied with a DVD of The Chambermaid on the Titanic available at the time only in places that did not trade with the U.S.) was on holiday with her sister in Italy. She just missed you Squishy by a day!

...   ...

You were photographed in the Piazza San Marco along with other celebrity friends on April 24 if my sources are correct. What a small world. Anyway, Alix took some pictures of the Piazza and they match the place where you had been hanging out.

It was Salma Hayek’s second wedding to Francois-Henry Pinault in Venice. Friday evening there was a rehearsal dinner and masquerade ball. Fancy indeed! *completely vexed no one got any shots of Squish Boy at the festivities – understandably a private affair.* Saturday there was a short civil ceremony followed by a reception at the Pinault family home in Venice. A modest but star studded 150 guests were there including former French President Jacques Chirac. What do you say to that aye?

And now Olivier is back at home in Paris. The man has shorn off all his beautiful hair again! *stomps skate* I dare not speculate on what he will do next but God willing there will be good news soon. We are all thinking about you Olivier and wishing you joy.

I’m having a huge day and have not put together another picture post but I will in the next day or two because I found some pretties! Stay tuned.

There were tears of joy when on April 8 a very nice lady called Barbara wrote in to give me news of Olivier. After a bit of searching I found a couple of shots of our boy in Los Angeles. I had even posted the news but took the post down about a half hour later because I could not confirm the date as none was given, no article, no details. But now I’m beginning to believe that Olivier did really make a recent but short trip to the United States because he looked the same as he does right now in Rome!!! Olivier is found once again thanks to the wedding plans of his friend Selma Hayek! *dances* So far there are only paparazzi pictures and you know how I feel about posting those. I respect Olivier’s privacy. I’ll keep you posted on any further news I find.

Have a wonderful time, Olivier! Travel safe, dance and receive tons of kisses.

Dear Dori Zuckerman,

You probably don’t remember meeting me. Oddly enough I don’t remember meeting you either, but that’s not important. What I was hoping to talk to you today about is Olivier Martinez. Now I understand your job is to find talent and I’m sure you know Olivier but do you really know just how versatile that fine actor is? Not only is he capable of portraying any range of emotion necessary but also he is a truly coordinated individual and gifted action star. See before Olivier became and actor he was a boxer. He wears leather as if God made the stuff specifically for him and shows off its fine fit while riding his motorcycle. He can beat a man to a pulp, wield a sword, jump in or out of windows as you please, transform into a wolf, fight a bull and that not even the half of it. He runs so fast that every screen cap I make is a complete blur. If you’ll take a look at Olivier’s portfolio you will discover that he is eminently qualified for the task you have in mind for him. The only thing left to do is put pen to paper and seal the deal. What do you say? I mean who else has that predatory glare that both frightens the weak and dares the brave to join him in the bedroom? Just food for thought from one who knows.

Yours truly,
Rollergirl

Cher Olivier,

I was so pleased to learn that things had gone so well between the leaders of our two countries. It looks like we are better friends now than we have been. Isn’t that marvelous? LOL!!! Didn’t Michelle Obama have a moment of heartfelt genius when she gave Mrs. Carla Bruni Sarkosy a Gibson guitar as a gift? I love Carla’s music and think she’s a truly accomplished, intelligent, talented and elegant lady. I’m proud of our President and very happy to be American.  I hope you like him too.  Come visit any time. *giggle*

Wherever you are now and what ever you have been up to for the past few months, I bet it’s something great. I believe in you. Bon chance. Travel safe.

I’ve wanted to create my very own Olivier Martinez mood theme for this journal for a long time now, and finally did it. There are 132 moods to choose from. I didn’t need to do each one individually because some are so close to others. But once I got started, I considered it a challenge to make each mood unique. It was a blast. Some of them are supposed to be humorous. I hope you enjoy them. From today prior I’ve used the Live Journal default “fox” moods so any prior posts may have mismatching moods. If anyone would like to use this mood theme for their own journal please contact me and I will send you the pack. I’m very happy to share. I’ve made a couple of contact sheets so you can view the set in its entirety.

Unfortunately I still have no news on Olivier. It’s been four months since I’ve seen him photographed anywhere in the world. That is very unusual for him. I dare not speculate on what he’s up to, only hope that he is working. Wherever you are Olivier, please know that you are loved. Travel safe.

No don’t go away. You’re in the right place. It was just time for a new look for this journal. I hope you like it. The banner art is made by me, Rollergirl. The page is a bit slow loading because I’ve posted way too many embedded pictures on the front page rather than under the cut. LOL!!! Over exuberance I guess. In case you’ve missed a chance to save the last banners here they are again starting with the new current art and working backward to the beginning. I’ll be back soon with some new posts. Have a great week everyone.

I have some wonderful portraits. They may look familiar but they are a finer quality than were previously posted. The first one however is most definitely new and oh so lovely. These are ginormous files so I apologize if you have dial up. (I have even larger and more vivid colored versions of these that are too big to post because no one will host so large a file. If you are interested in those originals write me a “PM”.) Special thanks to my new friend Wernor for these portraits …

  Dear Squishy,

There may be days when you don’t know where your life is leading you. In such cases as these it might be an educational experience to Google yourself. Pay no never mind to web listings, rather focus on images. You will see your past experiences in pictures. If you click on them, often you will find who has posted them and can read stories about yourself. Some are good. Some are a load of old tosh. If however you are looking for the truth, a good measure of encouragement and a hint of where your life should go from here, you will find the best information here at Je t’aime Olivier, where people absolutely adore you. The chances of you finding this site dedicated to you by Googling images of yourself are very good. Just follow “Rollergirl”. I’ve endeavored to make this site easy to find. Don’t forget to add the site to your favorites so you can check on up to the moment information of what you are doing and the stars you are reaching for. It’s my great pleasure to keep you informed. *giggle* Don’t be a stranger. After all … we miss you so much.

 Dear Squishy,

I was watching The Horseman on the Roof the other night for the ‘enth time and I was feeling silly, warm, fuzzy … you know how you get when you’re very happy. Hiding on the roof to escape your pursuers was a great idea. People can’t see you when you’re up high and often times they don’t think to look there. When I was little, my sisters and friends and I would play hide and seek indoors on rainy days. One day I came up with the best hiding place of all. It took them forever to find me and the only reason they did was because I started laughing at them. I’d climbed up onto the kitchen counter then on top of the refrigerator. Worked like a charm. Are you on a roof now? Is that why you cannot be found? Are in France, Spain, England or perhaps Hungary? Where ever you are I hope that you are very busy, happy, and well. We all miss you SO much (especially me). *kiss* God keep you.

With all my love,
